Education & Peer Support
Each year, usually 25-30 of our chapter’s women that are affected by or caring for individuals with Von Willebrand Disease or other bleeding disorders will gather at our annual Womenrsquo;s Retreat at Chico Hot Springs in Pray, Montana.
Our women’s retreat enhances their quality of life through education and peer support. Octapharma’s participation and presence allows our group to discuss current and available treatment options, provide support and enable patient advocacy relating to discussing appropriate treatment at physicians’ offices, and educating and raising awareness with other healthcare professionals in our communities.
